Save Over $50 On The Illustrated Biography Of Final Fantasy’s Original Designer

A lot of talent has helped shape the Final Fantasy franchise over the years, but artist Yoshitaka Amano has arguably had the biggest impact on the visual direction of the series. The Final Fantasy designer’s career is celebrated in a gorgeous 328-page book titled Yoshitaka Amano: The Illustrated Biography. Final Fantasy fans can save $56 on this unique biography, as Amazon has dropped the price from $150 down to $94. You can pair it with The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy Box Set for $125 (was $200), a three-volume set with art from the first 10 mainline games.

The book itself contains nearly 400 illustrations and photos from across Amano’s Final Fantasy portfolio and it also comes with a 96-page landscape-style softcover book. This is a collection of sketches from Amano during a tour of Paris, and is a lovely companion piece to his Final Fantasy work. Additionally, there’s a Blu-ray with almost three hours of material, two mini-lithographs made by Amano exclusively for this release, and an individually signed card from the illustrator.
