Terrifier 3 premiered in theaters on October 11 and has been slaying at the box office ahead of Halloween. While October may is the ideal month for watching horror movies, Terrifier 3’s Christmas setting means that it’s also a seasonally appropriate, though not exactly jolly, movie to watch during the winter holidays, too. Art the Clown will arrive on your doorstep before Santa this year, as Terrifier 3’s 4K Blu-ray launch is slated for December 17. Preorders for multiple editions of the unrated slasher are available now at Walmart and Amazon, including the Terrifier 3 Collector’s Edition with a steelbook case. Amazon is also getting an exclusive Limited Edition Collector’s Box Set with some peculiar extras, including a box of soap, barf bag, and numerous Art the Clown-themed decorations.

Terrifier 3 Preorders at Walmart:
$30 (was $50)
Following a brief period of selling the 4K Blu-ray editions for markedly different prices, Amazon and Walmart are now on the same page with Terrifier 3’s 4K Collector’s Edition. You can preorder at either retailer for $30 (was $50). This edition comes with 4K and standard Blu-ray discs.
If you don’t care about steelbook cases, you can preorder the standard 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray combo pack for $28 at either retailer. It’s possible this price will drop lower, as a $2 difference between steelbook and non-steelbook editions is not ideal.
That said, $30 is a good bit less than the average 4K steelbook edition of a new movie, so you may want to secure your preorder while it’s available at this price.
Special features have not been revealed yet. All we really know about the release is that it includes the 4K and standard Blu-ray versions of Terrifier 3, and you have the option to get a steelbook case featuring Art the Clown. The case’s interior art shows off the slasher flick’s practical makeup effects.
You can preorder the digital edition on Prime Video for $25. The streaming release date hasn’t been set, but typically digital versions of new movies are available to buy/rent a few weeks before the Blu-ray release. And unlike many physical editions, Terrifier 3 will not include a voucher for the digital edition.
$160
The Amazon-exclusive Limited Edition Collector’s Box Set is available to preorder now for $160. Amazon hasn’t uploaded an image of the set just yet, but here’s what it includes:
- Terrifier 3 Collector’s Edition on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray
- Box of Soap
- Barf Bag
- Art the Clown Mini Mask
- Art the Clown Enamel Pin
- Art the Clown Ornament
- 3 Art the Clown Selfies
- Polaroid Replicas
As mentioned, the extras are just a tad weird. It’s probably the first Blu-ray to come with a themed “box of soap” and barf bag. The Art the Clown ornament will add some Christmas cheer to your tree this holiday, though.
Directed by series creator Damien Leone, Terrifier 3 continues the bloody saga of serial killer Art the Clown and sees the return of Terrifier 2‘s protagonist, Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera). Like the previous entries in the franchise, Terrifier 3 features gory scenes achieved through practical effects and is considered the most shocking and brutal of the series so far. Nevertheless, it’s garnered positive reviews from critics and hit nearly $19 million in its opening box office weekend. So while this is not one for anyone with a weak stomach or a phobia of clowns, those who enjoy a good slasher or horror movie may want to consider seeing it and picking up the 4K Steelbook edition.
If you need to catch up on the rest of the franchise before Terrifier 3’s home video release, Terrifier is available to stream with a Prime Video subscription, which is included with Amazon Prime. New subscribers can sign up for a free 30-day trial. Terrifier 2 is also on Prime Video via Freevee, so you don’t even need a subscription service to watch the sequel.
Physical versions of the first two Terrifier films as well as an anthology featuring Art the Clown are available on Amazon for budget-friendly prices.
The franchise began with two short films–The 9th Circle and Terrifier–both of which are featured in the All Hallows’ Eve horror anthology movie. The shorts were followed up with the feature-length Terrifier in 2016 and Terrifier 2 in 2022. Blu-ray editions of both films are available on Amazon, and you can grab 4K and Steelbook editions of Terrifier 2. Walmart has an exclusive Blu-ray steelbook edition as well.
